We consider a six-parameter family of the square integrable wave functions for the simple harmonic oscillator, which cannot be obtained by the standard separation of variables. They are given by the action of the corresponding maximal kinematical invariance group on the standard solutions. In addition, the phase space oscillations of the electron position and linear momentum probability distributions are computer animated and some possible applications are briefly discussed. A visualization of the Heisenberg uncertainty principle is presented.  相似文献

Anionic and nonionic surfactants exhibit opposite changes in hydrophilicity with a change of temperature. This antagonism can be harnessed by the use of mixtures. The phase behavior and emulsion type are mapped on a temperature water-oil/ratio diagram for different anionic-nonionic mixtures. It is shown that the mixing can result in insensitivity to temperature of different kinds of emulsions.  相似文献

PEG-400 and glycerol were successfully used as recyclable solvents for the synthesis of several organylthioenynes in good to excellent yields and high selectivity using solid supported catalyst (KF/Al2O3). This easy, general and improved method furnishes the corresponding alkenyl sulfides preferentially with Z configuration. The catalytic system and the glycerol or PEG-400 can be reused up to three times without previous treatment with comparable activity.  相似文献

Photodynamic therapy (PDT) appears as a promising alternative in the treatment of breast cancer since it can be highly effective in curing cancer while preserving normal tissue. However, predicting outcomes in PDT still constitutes a great challenge. One of the parameters that are usually empirically determined is the rate of photon flux delivered to the tissue (light fluence rate). In the present study, we intended to understand why monolayers of human cells derived from mammary adenocarcinomas (MDA-MB-231 and MCF-7) respond quite differently to fluence rates (cells were irradiated either for 6 or for 16 min) at a fixed light dose (4.5 J cm−2) delivered with an array of LEDs in a typical methylene blue PDT protocol. While death rates of MDA-MB-231 cells were insensitive to the fluence rate, MCF-7 cells showed a quite impressive (three times) decrease in cell death levels in the shorter irradiation protocol. Independent on cell type cell death was invariably correlated with the depletion of reduced glutathione intracellular levels and consequently with widespread redox misbalance. Our data show the potential to optimize fluence rates to provide exhaustion of the cell antioxidant responses in order to circumvent therapy resistance of breast tumors.  相似文献

A flexible, highly sensitive sensor of oxygen in non-aqueous solvents is described. It consists of CdSe/ZnS nanoparticles decorated with a considerable number of pyrene units, thus making the formation of the pyrene excimer possible. The emission of the pyrene excimer and that of the nanoparticle are suitably separated from each other and also from the excitation wavelength. This sensor can be applied as a ratiometric oxygen sensor by using the linear response of the pyrene excimer lifetime combined with the linear response of the nanoparticle excited state lifetime. This nanohybrid has been assayed in seven media with different dielectric constants and viscosities over the whole oxygen concentration range. In addition, the sensor versatility provides an easy way for monitoring oxygen diffusion through systems.  相似文献

We transform the time-dependent Schrödinger equation for the most general variable quadratic Hamiltonians into a standard autonomous form. As a result, the time evolution of exact wave functions of generalized harmonic oscillators is determined in terms of the solutions of certain Ermakov and Riccatitype systems. In addition, we show that the classical Arnold transform is naturally connected with Ehrenfest’s theorem for generalized harmonic oscillators.  相似文献

In this paper we present two new algorithmic variants to compute the Neville elimination, with and without pivoting, which improve data locality and cast most of the computations in terms of high-performance Level 3 BLAS. The experimental evaluation on a state-of-the-art multi-core processor demonstrates that the new blocked algorithms exhibit a much higher degree of concurrency and better cache usage, yielding higher performance while offering numerical accuracy akin to that of the traditional columnwise variant in most cases.  相似文献

Novel liquid crystal (LC) dendrimers have been synthesised by hydrogen bonding between an s‐triazine as the central core and three peripheral dendrons derived from bis(hydroxymethyl)propionic acid. Symmetric acid dendrons bearing achiral promesogenic units have been synthesised to obtain 3:1 complexes with triazine that exhibit LC properties. Asymmetric dendrons that combine the achiral promesogenic unit and an active moiety derived from coumarin or pyrene structures have been synthesised in order to obtain dendrimers with photophysical and electrochemical properties. The formation of the complexes was confirmed by IR and NMR spectroscopy data. The liquid crystalline properties were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry, polarising optical microscopy and X‐ray diffractometry. All complexes displayed mesogenic properties, which were smectic in the case of symmetric dendrons and their complexes and nematic in the case of asymmetric dendrons and their dendrimers. A supramolecular model for the lamellar mesophase, based mainly on X‐ray diffraction studies, is proposed. The electrochemical behaviour of dendritic complexes was investigated by cyclic voltammetry. The UV/Vis absorption and emission properties of the compounds and the photoconductive properties of the dendrons and dendrimers were also investigated  相似文献

The development of fast, automatic and less expensive methods of analysis has always been the main aim of flow methodologies. The search for new procedures that still maintain the reliability and accuracy of the reference procedures is an ever growing challenge. New requirements are continually added to analytical methodologies, such as lower consumption of samples and reagents, miniaturisation and portability of the equipment, computer interfaces for full decision systems and so on. Therefore, the development of flow methodologies meeting the extra requirements of water analysis is a challenging work.Sequential injection analysis (SIA) presents a set of characteristics that make it highly suitable for water analysis. With sequential injection analysis, most routine determinations in waters can be performed more quickly with much lower reagent consumption when compared to reference procedures. Additionally, SIA can be a valuable tool for analyte speciation and multiparametric analysis. This paper critically reviews the overall work in this area.  相似文献

Ellman’s chiral auxiliary is converted into tert-butylsulfinyl chloride on sulfinamide deprotection with HCl and can be recovered in high yield upon treatment with ammonia. The enantiopure auxiliary can be obtained by trapping the sulfinyl chloride with a chiral alcohol followed by treatment of the resulting sulfinate ester with LiNH2.  相似文献
